Another exciting and busy term is in store for the students. We have an Art exhibition in classrooms this term, and also a trip to the Marae planned. Dates to be confirmed.
Cross country is on August 13th, so please help your child practise.
As a school, team, class and individual we are trying to make connections with each other, so we are looking into our Culture this term as our Inquiry unit- Whanaungatanga- Our place our people.
We will look at the treaty of Waitangi, and also delve into our own histories, so if any families would like to share their experiences of their journey of settlement to New Zealand, please let me know and we could arrange a time for you to be the guest speakers, as part of the immersion process.
We have a student led conference in Week 3 of this term, so please book a 10 minute slot. it would be appreciated if we can keep to the time frame on this day and if any parent needs more time , then we can arrange another time.
A team newsletter will be emailed as well about the happenings of this term.
